The U19B Head Coach plays a critical role in providing athletes with a meaningful and rewarding final stage of youth ringette. Athletes at this level are developing greater ownership of their sport experience while balancing increasing commitments related to school, work, and other activities.
This is a volunteer leadership position responsible for fostering a positive, inclusive, and development-focused environment where athletes can continue to compete, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their lifelong connection to ringette.
The successful candidate will be supported by the association through coach development opportunities, program resources, mentorship, and assistance with recruiting assistant coaches, team staff, and other volunteers as needed.
A successful U19B Head Coach creates an environment where athletes continue to enjoy competing, develop meaningful friendships, strengthen leadership skills, and maintain a lasting connection to the sport. Success is measured through athlete development, retention, team culture, sportsmanship, leadership growth, and the positive impact coaches have on athletes as they prepare for adulthood and future involve
